already writing

Last weekend (I know, the proud momma should have written this sooner) Matt was coloring on the dry erase board in Aaron's office. This is a favorite past time in our house. Aaron showed him how to write the letter "A" by saying "up, down, cross" Matt would always be repeating it but nothing he wrote resembled an A, until last weekend! We had friends over for the presidential debate and Matt had lost all interest in the conversation and his special snacks were gone, so it was off to the office to color. Out of no where he says "up, down, cross" and there was a perfect A in front of me. I couldn't believe it. What a sight to see! Then this week he has moved on to circles and drawing us pictures and pointing to them and telling us what it is... too cute!
