the waiting game

Just b/c it is on my mind almost all of the time, I have to write about it. Aaron graduates in May (can that really be? 3 yrs are gone in a blink!) and we will be moving to a new base. We have been told that this information will come out sometime in December, most likely by mid-December. This means that at any minute Aaron could receive a phone call telling him where we will be living for the next 2 to 3 yrs. I'm sure you are wondering if we have any say, well, we kind of do. We put in a "dream sheet" but most likely won't be going to any place of our choosing. With the Air Force paying for law school (one of our greatest blessings, so I'm not complaining!) he is at the bottom of the list to receive an assigment. So this means EVERYONE else will receive their base before we do... meaning all the good places will most likely be gone. We are trusting that God knows where we need to be and we know that we will be able to thrive wherever that might be, but YIKES, there are some not so great places around our country. We will make the most of it, we always do! :o) We will keep you posted...
