After 28 years of life, I have finally learned how to tie my shoes correctly. Friday before the race Aaron was flipping through a Runner's World magazine. He asked me how I tie my shoes. I didn't really know because it is just second nature. I grabbed a shoe and showed him what I do. IT WAS WRONG! So, luckily, I learned how to correctly tie my shoelaces 2 days before the 1/2 marathon. (just in case you are now wondering if you are right or wrong, after you make your loop, swing the other lace in front, go around and pull through, then the laces lay sideways, the way they should) I don't know how I have kept my shoes on for so long!
