a quick update

The kids are great and growing so fast. Mackenzie sits up on her own and is talking so much. She loves bath time, so now we have 2 waterbugs! She is sleeping through the night which makes us all happier campers. We are having fun introducing the world of solid foods. She loves bananas and butternut squash. She is getting big so fast! Matthew is trying to find his independence and is testing his boundaries. He has such a sweet heart and is very protective of his sister. When she cries, he brings her toys and tries to make her happy (most of the time). The other day Mack and I were going home in the truck and Matt and Aaron were taking the van to see the airplanes on base before heading home. Matt started to cry when I took Mackenzie to the other car, he wanted his sister to be next to him. Aaron has already started him on movie quotes. It is truly amazing! The other night he had been through several and Aaron tried to think of one from Charlie Brown Christmas. He decided to see Hark the Herald Angels Sing. Matt quickly responded with "Jesus" It brought tears to my eyes. A couple of mornings ago Matt woke up, turned on his bedroom light and started playing in his little kitchen. What a sweetie! We are having a blast and enjoying watching our kids grow. We feel so blessed!
