6 ft tall

Well, it looks like we might have a very tall boy in the future! Matt just had his 2 yr check up and was 37 inches tall already. (shocking us by being in the 90th percentile) Boys generally double their height at 2 1/2 yrs, so it seems we will be looking up to our son one of these days. here is a picture of father and son showing us what it might look like in the future. We prayed for him to be taller than us and it seems as though God heard our prayers and ran with it!

We are having a blast watching Matt grow up! He is very clever. The other day Aaron told him he had to finish his pretzels before going outside. He had one left and asked Aaron if he wanted it. Aaron said "no, you eat it" Well, Matt sat there for a second, the wheels turning, and then hid the pretzel in his hand. He turned to Aaron and said "where'd it go?" So funny! He continues to amaze me with his big brother skills. He is so careful with Mackenzie and wants to share his toys. (this frustrates him a little when she doesn't play back!) He likes to hold her for 5 seconds at a time, 20 times a day. We don't get much done fast around here but we are all being fed, bathing and sleeping, so what more can you ask for?


Mackenzie is doing great, getting better at night and more awake during the day. Before long she will be chasing after her brother and talking up a storm! She weighs 8lbs. 5oz already and seems so big to me. Although, she is just in the 25th percentile for height and weight. We are enjoying our little angel and so excited for all the things to come!
