Halloween

Matt is in a Mario Bros phase so it was no question what he was going to be for Halloween. Mackenzie has started calling herself Princess Peach (also from the game) and so the theme began. Aaron just needed a green shirt, hat and mustache to transform into Luigi. Then, what do to with mom? The roll of princess had been filled so we got creative. I got to be Koopa Troopa, the turtle. I bought green sweats and a hat and we were set. We already had a toy that was green and worked for the shell. We had a blast! It was a little hard to get into the Halloween spirit after a week in Cancun but we found our festive mood and celebrated for days. Friday night we carved pumpkins while watching Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin Patch, Saturday was a costume promotion party for some people in Aaron's office and Sunday was trick or treating with family. The kids were worn out but loved getting to dress up so many times. Our theme was easy this year, now the pressure is on for the years to come!
