She's here!

Mackenzie made her grand entrance on August 13th at 6:07am. My contractions started at 11pm but kept it to myself so that Aaron and my sister could get a little sleep at least. We were all up before long and called my dear friend Merideth to come over and stay with Matt.

Around 3am we headed to the hospital, admitted at 3:45. The doctor didn't get there until 5:45, when she broke my water and minutes later it was time to push. So crazy! At the time it seemed to drag on but it really went by fast. It was fun having the Olympics on during the process. We saw a good game of beach volleyball! (I wasn't in the place to truly appreciate it though)
